Soda Kitty

Say Hello to Soda! They are the mascot for mine and my husbands new venture into Internet Reviewing: Pop Stream! The inspiration behind their colour pallet were those blue and pink cola bottle sweets, which I thought would go well with the theme and look very pleasing to the eye.

This is important to me because it is my very first drawing with a graphics tablet. I got a Wacom Cintiq 13HD Creative Pen Display for Christmas from my parents; after years of asking, but hey I have one now. The Cintiq has its own display making it much more intuitive to draw on. A normal tablet wouldn't have done because, you pretty much have to relearn how to draw and due to my Autism it would have been impossible. Words can not describe how excited I am at having this. It opens up a whole new word of art to me that until now I could just gaze at from the outside. This itself didn't take me very long at all, way shorter than if I had drawn it on paper. Plus I make a lot of mistakes and am quite the perfectionist, so now I can edit as I go; no more long hours editing in post with a mouse on gimp!
